Tabernacle school nurses make a difference at school, in community

By Donna O’Malley, NJREA

Tabernacle’s two school nurses, Eileen Latini and Barbara Wisniewski not only care for the staff and students of our Tabernacle schools, when school is in session, but are also assisting the teachers with reaching out to parents of students who are either struggling with distance learning or not participating. They are a great resource for our students and parents during this health crisis.

In addition, they joined the Medical Reserve Corp to be able to do “Contact Tracing” for the Burlington County Health Department. This was done with the approval of Tabernacle Administration. The nurses spent two or three days a week doing this volunteer work.
