In Upper Saddle River, reading is a core value in our community. When students left Reynolds School on March 13 they each has about 20 books in their book bags, but after a few weeks, parents and students started asking for more books.
Last week, I was able to lead more than 30 teachers through a webinar on Epic Books.
This online digital library allows free access to thousand of ebooks, audiobooks, and educational videos.
Teachers set up their student accounts and share the site with parents. Now, students love reading books on the Epic website and teachers are able to monitor their progress through the portal.
Reading new and exciting books can continue despite Reynolds School being closed.
