Every day since virtual learning started, I’ve been doing daily YouTube videos for my students to go over instructions, give notes, and other announcements.
The videos are for them to view before they get started on each day’s assignment, but I thought we should have some fun with it, so I reached out to the Mets announcer, Colin Cosell, who incidentally is the grandson of famed sports announcer Howard Cosell. He made me my very own “walk up music intro” for my classes just like a MLB player coming to the plate.
Thanks to Colin’s kindness, my students get to experience an introduction of their teacher like he is a sports star. I cannot thank Colin enough and it has continued to make me and my students smile when I play it.
