Jillian Swigert and Cheryl Alverson, third grade teachers at Egg Harbor Township’s Slaybaugh School, organized a classroom food drive to help support their local Community Food Bank of South Jersey.
A total of 233 pounds worth of food items plus monetary donations were donated to help those in need. To the delight of their students, they even had Flat Mrs. Swigert and Flat Mrs. Alverson help out with the delivery.
